David Ffrench LeRoy

 

Born: Co.Wexford, 1971

 

Self Taught Artist

 

I started to paint at the age of 24years, and in October 1996 I completed my first exhibition at the Wexford Opera Festival, which consisted of mainly contemporary work.  In the year of 1997 my work changed to a more traditional style of painting, and I began to take on more commissioned work.  I went on to my second solo exhibition at the 1997 Opera Festival in Wexford with great success.

 

Following this, I moved to Dublin where I began to exhibit work at the Jorgensen Fine Art Gallery, while I still continued with the commission work.
